So I just returned from a speedy jaunt to the homeland, with my cousin Carol. She’s getting married September first and we had the first bridal shower this weekend. She’s pretty on top of her game and there’s not a ton left to get ready for the wedding, it’s going to be beautiful. Although it was a quick trip, it was good to get home and see everybody. And holy smokes, did she get a lot of cool gifts. We made it back in time on Sunday so that I could work at 3.
This week is the Fourth of July and I wound up with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off from work. I am going to take a little road trip to Iowa City with one of my friends. Then it’s back to work on Saturday and possibly the new Spider-Man movie? Not sure yet!
