So, professors have already started emailing the dreaded (not so much for me) reading lists for classes starting next fall. I figured (because I am so busy, obviously….not really) to get a jump on some of them. I am currently reading Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens and boy, is it quite the slog. Generally, I am a big fan of the reading material that professors ask us to read because usually it’s interesting and different from what I would usually pick out. And, being an English major, I just genuinely like to read. But Dickens and I are not the best of friends, especially since this book happens to be like 850 pages long. Ugh. Oh well, it’s all in the experience, right?

Two of my part time roommates move out tomorrow and it will be a little sad seeing them go. I am planning on making my mom’s super secret cookie recipe for them tonight, since I won’t be around when they leave tomorrow. My other roommate leaves the Friday after and then I will be alone in the apartment again. So today, (seeing as how much alone time I’m going to have) I bought seasons 8 and 9 of One Tree Hill (I already have the first 7). Clearly, I am going to be very busy when they leave!
